Lala is a bassist, composer, arranger and producer based in the North West of England. Proficient in a variety of styles, she has honed her craft as a tight and tactful session bassist with a wealth of experience playing for artists, musical theatre and big bands.

Undertaking training at Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) (2023-26), Lala specialised in Music Performance and Music Creation. Before graduating, she built a varied portfolio of creative outputs and professional experience:

• Bassist and Assistant Musical Director for The Snow Dragons Musical at Everyman Theatre (2025)

• Principal bassist for LIPA Big Band (2024-25) and Northern Rhythm Big Band (2025-present), including performances at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

• Live and studio bassist for a variety of artists working in all genres, including on tour in Spain with Karmento (2026)

• Bassist for Fever UK’s ‘The Jazz Room’ and ‘Tribute to Soul’ concerts in Liverpool (2025-26)

• Creator, arranger and producer of Abbey Road Electrified, an album of electronic recreations of the tracks from The Beatles’ Abbey Road

• Founding member, bassist, writer, producer and backing vocalist of Liverpool music duo Little Disco (2026-present)

• Performance at Liverpool Cathedral with Little Disco for The UCISA Gala (2026)
